Founded in 1938, Ventura Yacht Club is the oldest yacht club in Ventura County and one of the more unique clubs in the United States.
VYC is a full service facility located on the west side of Ventura Harbor between the Ventura Harbor Village and the Channel Islands National Park headquarters.
VYC owns and operates a 91 slip marina for members and maintains a spacious 240-foot guest dock for members and visitors with yacht club reciprocity. The club also has a two-ton hoist and dry storage spaces for trailerable boats up to 30 feet.
VYC offers a wide variety of boating activities, social events, weekend dining and even a youth program that has introduced hundreds of youngsters to the sport of sailing.
