Ventura Yacht Club is an equity-based limited membership club. Approximately 75% of the members own sailboats, and 25% own powerboats. The club currently has about 230 members.
There are several types of memberships: Regular, Trial, Junior, Convertible, Senior (after 20 consecutive years), and Non-resident. The majority of memberships are “Regular”. A Regular member enjoys all rights and privileges afforded by the Ventura Yacht Club including the right to vote on Club business and the option to hold elective office.
To become a Regular member, simply submit a completed application signed by three sponsors.
All members receive reciprocal privileges when visiting almost any yacht club worldwide. Ventura Yacht Club is open to members seven days a week and has staff in the office Tuesday through Sunday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
